Presidential candidate says Argentine striker had "lucrative offers" elite European clubs, and he suspects that he is selling, or will be sold soon.

  Barcelona presidential candidate, Agusti Benedito suspects that the current board of the club wants to sell the best player of them, Lionel Messi.

The current president of the Catalan team, Josep Maria Bartomeu, said he hopes that the Argentine striker will remain at Camp Nou for many years to come, but Benedito says their different messages can not be trusted.

"They have shown over the years that their public statements can not be trusted, because they are not always the same with their ideas," says Benedito.
